Averitte to Lead Overwatch Tactical Operations

Austin, TX – October 29, 2007. – Textron Systems, a Textron Inc. (NYSE: TXT) company, today announced the appointment of Randy Averitte to senior vice president and general manager of its Overwatch Tactical Operations (Overwatch TacOps) operating unit. Overwatch TacOps is a software and hardware development firm specializing in C4SIR (Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance) systems for the U.S. Government.

Averitte, previously Overwatch TacOps' executive vice president, will take over management of the operating unit from Wade immediately.
